Can this version make use of a battery converter to use DeWalt/Milwaukee/Ryobi batteries like the V8 can?
Make sure you choose between the right version, there's a v11 Dyson removable as well. sucks for me as I have all worx tools and there aren't any sort for anything worx...

Do a search for adapters. I just picked up one of these to use milwaukee batteries for the V10 and it seems to work well. You could try searching on amazon item number B0C85H1CGF and then choosing the one for your dyson model.

agree with above that the 2 year warranty at eBay vs 6 months with Dyson directly seems to make that the choice a no brainer
