This is a hot deal.

90hz, 90% DCIP3, 10w of speakers (way better than most laptops), Ethernet and USB-C PD along with a hub, rich inputs, and comes factory calibrated for $150, crazy. Wish it was 4k, I'd happily pay $100-150 more.

Webcam positioning on top of the monitor is also very ideal. You look much better from that angle than from say a laptop angle. This camera is also apparently Windows Hello enabled.

Great deal for a conferencing / dock monitor that checks all the boxes for features --
QHD, Ethernet, speakers, camera, 100W charging and extra USB-A ports -- perfect Work from Home monitor to connect to a modern laptop that has USB-C charging for a clean 1-cable solution. It says "Mac or PC" so that is also good.

I'm mostly a Dell monitor person but will give this HP a chance. In for 2. Thanks OP!

So many monitor deals right now I don't know which one to get…
Silly question but what would it need Ethernet for? It doesn't have any smart functions does it?

That's exactly what it's for. Plug in an ethernet cable from your router and your laptop gets wired networking over the single USB-C cable, plus the monitor charges your laptop with up to 100W of charging power, and that same single cable also carries video, audio and camera signals plus gives you a bunch of USB-A ports (useful for MacBook users since MBP has no USB-A ports and same for some other PC laptops like Dell XPS).

Not a bad deal but this is a 180 dollar monitor not 500. Let's just make that clear.

It's not very clear -- You mean in your opinion it's worth $180? Because HP's site has it for $509:

And Andorama has it for 175. I'm just saying this is about a 180 dollar monitor. Don't believe you are getting 67% off. It's still a good deal just don't believe the hype that anyone is paying 500 for this.

Dell has their 24" Conferencing monitor on sale for $390. And it's only 1080p and only 60Hz. Their "normal" price is $500 also.
It's not uncommon for an item to be on sale at multiple places at the same time. Is this monitor ALWAYS $175 or less? CCC shows it's been $509 at Amazon since May 2023 but is also on sale now.

Same with printers -- they tend to go on sale everywhere then go back to list price until the next sale.

Good luck finding a 2K monitor with 400 nits for $180. A typical monitor is only 250-300 nits. 350 nits is higher end territory. For the longest time, most manufacturers only reserve their 400 nits panels for their highest end lineup (eg Dell XPS). Once I got an XPS, it's super hard for me to use my older laptops that only have 300 nits of brightness (the colors don't have that nice "pop").
