Sofirn [sofirnlight.com] has a sale on the BS01 Bike Light with built in 21700 battery for $24.99.

I've had this light since last August and it's been great on my G30P, although the strap mount needed a small piece of foam for a better fit. I only use it on turbo mode when scooting, which on specs says it's 2000 lumens with 3h run time, 277m beam distance. It gets hot but doesn't seem to throttle, maybe because I'm constantly moving at 20mph on the scooter. It comes off easily and I actually prefer to use this as a flashlight sometimes when I go for walks so I don't accidentally blind other people, since the beam is similar to a car and directs down and horizontally.

Product Details:
  • 6000-6500k LED
  • built in 21700 5000mAh battery, USB-C charging
  • universal mount
  • 6 modes
  • power bank function
  • auto on/off with motion
Sofirn [sofirnlight.com] also has the SC02 EDC for $6.99.

I haven't used this before but looks really interesting. Only $7 for a USB-C charging, 320lm EDC, which blows away the Olight annual deals out of the water (they're free + $5 shipping). Free shipping on orders over $29 so this could be a filler if you want the bike light.

Product Details:
  • tiny, fits on keyring, 27g
  • 90 CRI, 320lm
  • USB-C charging
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I've been looking for a bike light, and since you've had good experience with this one, OP, I may jump on it along with the other one you posted since I could use it as a flashing tail light. I don't ride my bike a lot, but I do want to take it to the beach with me this year. Thanks and repped!

For anyone with an existing account, how much is shipping for the SC02 EDC alone?

The SC02 EDC for $6.99 is mildly tempting, but not being interested in other lights, I have a feeling the cost of shipping will kill the deal.

oh yeah, forgot to mention that in my post but it's one of the uses of the SC02, makes sense that it popped up in the "you may also like" section lol.

$3.99, I was also tempted so it's in my cart alone right now, still debating if I need another flashlight to save on shipping...

At least there's no sales tax?

what are some bike lights without a proprietary mount around the same price/performance?

genuinely asking because i failed to find one myself when deciding to buy this last August.

The sales do come around often it seems, this matches the lowest price i've seen last year but without a tracker like ccc it's hard to tell, and it can't track discount codes on amazon either.

I don't agree that it's everyday price all the time though, I've definitely gone back to buy more of the same flashlights for friends, family, and secret santa, and occasionally I'd have to wait a while for the lower prices to come back. And i've also bought from Amazon where prices can be slightly lower if you have 5% back credit card, and shipping is faster.

i've purchased over 30 flashlights in the last 2-3 years, and i think 20 of them have been sofirn. it's the only one i give as gifts because of the price/performance and most of them can be recharged on their own (i use samsung batteries with nitecore charger).

I hear you. The review said bike got knocked once and mount broke. That concerned me a bit.

Some folks said it was compatible with a Garmin mount, so I wonder if there's a better handlebar Garmin mount out there that'd be good. I'll report back once I've got mine!
