But if you have the 1TB plan, you can't extend it with this. You have to wait until that's almost up and then redeem this.

I have a photography plan for $9.99/month at Adobe and tried to cancel it to get this one.

"You'll be charged an early cancellation fee of US$24.98
Per the terms of your subscription, if you cancel today, you'll be charged an early cancellation fee."

What?

Thought it's monthly... Why would they charge you that?

I'm glad I used virtual card for mine.

I am in the same boat. After looking into it a bit, I realized it's supposed to be an "annual plan, billed monthly." That's very misleading.

Anyone know how long you can extend a subscription out? I've already extended my existing one out to 2026, not sure if it can go any further.

Hello All,

I have been using the Adobe Photography subscription for years. I had the 1TB plan and then tried to activate the 20TB plan, and they are competing products. So after a chat and phone call with customer support, they re-issued the redemption code that I had for the 20TB plan that I tried to activate and told me to active that new redemption plan when the existing 1TB plan runs out. Easy Peasy

This is 20GB (i.e. nothing), not 20TB.

Affinity is more like Photoshop than Lightroom. Yes you can edit photos but it doesn't have any of the catalog/organization that Lightroom offers.

I made this mistake myself. There's no warning or anything, the system just assumes you want two simultaneous photography plans. If you try to get help through the virtual chat it doesn't understand the issue. Then when you get a person, they (at least the one I chatted with) basically shrug at you and say they can't help. You have to get someone on the phone. Here's the number: 1-800-833-6687.

The best cheaper alternative I've tried for Lightroom was Luminar AI (haven't tried Neo, the newest version). I basically went from Lightroom 4, then tried most of the cheap or free programs everyone recommends, found Luminar was the best of them and was the only one where I thought it produced better results than Lightroom 4.

About 4 months ago there was a deal on the Adobe Photography Plan so I thought I'd give it another try, and I don't think I'll be able to go back. I take a ridiculous number of pictures and working in Lightroom is so much faster for me that it's worth the money just to get my time back, not to mention some of the more advanced features like the AI noise reduction. When I compare results with pictures taken in poor conditions, the ones in Lightroom look like they were taken with a camera 10x the price.
