Indian Head is branding, this isn't for head gaskets.

But it's also not for lubricating brakes, lol.

Read the specs. Heads get much hotter than 350F and are usually made from MLS with no liquid sealants applied.

This is intended for e.g. paper gaskets commonly used to seal coolant passages, intake manifolds, possibly valve cover, or just about anything related to a small engine use (where temperatures are generally much lower).

With that said, I've never actually used this particular product; my go-to sealant for gaskets is Permatex RTVs.

It's good at holding gaskets in place. Water pump or valve cover gaskets can be held in place during installation.

Unless you've been wrenching since the 60's and 70's, you've probably never used it. For you younguns, the stuff has been been used on cars since the days when the Model T ruled the road. Whatever you think you might want to use this for, something better has been invented in the last 115 years.

If you are an old fart like me, you'll spend $2 just to open the bottle and sniff it. It won't give you a buzz, but it will bring back wonderful memories of a simpler time filled with leaded gas, cast iron, carburetors, points ignitions and no $#%& emissions crap. There is nothing else in the world that smells like it.

I think this is the first time I've seen someone wish for leaded gas

Never been around virtually any form of gasoline engine powered racing, old muscle cars, or vintage gas engines in general I see.
Leaded gas is STILL used in most dedicated race vehicles.
