64oz Tritan blending jar and a 3.5 HP Motor, seems quite well reviewed to boot nod

Did you guys get it yet? Is it a piece of crap?

I bought it and am curious if it is even somewhat comparable to a more expensive blender.

Tried to use a ninja (this one [amazon.com]) to blend some whey protein shakes and it was super grainy.
It's supposed to come on Wednesday.

3.5 hp requires 2600w. 15 amp breaker has a maximum load of 1800w. So at best your getting a 2.25 Hp performance as long as nothing else is running on the same circuit.
Got mine yesterday. Says 1600W on the placard which makes more sense.
Will test it out in a little bit.

Also got mine yesterday. It says 3.5 HP on the box but if the poster above says 1600 W then it probably won't hit that sustained.

Just for reference the blendtec classic/575 for $399 does 1560W peak 3 HP. So maybe the 3.5 HP is peak?

Works OK. Comparing to my every-day Vitamix 6300, very simplified interface (off-low-high + pulse). About same weight and noise. Base feels very plasticy though.
Blends well, but missing the tamper which helps the Vitamix to blend everything quicker/more evenly and prevents splashing up to the top (less clean-up). Cover is more difficult to remove.

Good deal though if it lasts.

got mine, it's quite powerful... possibly more powerful than the best vitamix! but the issue is.. no tamper. anyone know where to get a tamper that would be compatible?

I don't think it's very durable as jar feels flimsy. Planning to return mine
