Some fantastic pricing here.

Gilmore Girls, which the ladies in my life love, has never been below $49 IIRC. Yes, it's on NF, but we'll be picking up at this price.

Babylon 5 in HDX is an easy blind buy for SF fans. Absolutely ground breaking in its day, still holds up very well today in every way save the 90s era special effects.

Babylon 5 has a rough start, but gets much better. Though it gets worse again in Season 5 because they weren't expecting to get renewed and didn't have a good plan in place

Honestly, I couldn't get through the first episode of Babylon 5. I blind bought it a few months ago when the remastered set came out and I returned it.

Huge fan of sci fi series, All trek, stargate, BSG etc.... but Babylon 5 just...didn't do it for me in the 90s and still is a tough sell.

I've only seen fringe for 19.99 or 29.99, I bit because this never really goes on sale.

Fringe has been hovering at about $8/season since I've been monitoring it. This is the lowest I've seen it. I may bite. Thanks.

I snagged it too!

This show recently become available on digital, only downfall is the format but for 10 seasons even in SD format, its hard to say no.

VUDU did have better sales on Justified and Breaking Bad last December ($25), but I gave a thumbs up anyway. Both great shows (BB, obviously).

Babylon 5:
I understand the love it is given, but don't share. While I enjoyed it, it is pretty cheesy (not just fx, but also dialogue). And to a previous commenter: yes, the first season is especially tough to get through. The lead actor is incredibly wooden, and many others seriously over-acted. But you get used to it, and enjoy the story (and the replacement main character). I do acknowledge that it was an early pioneer of fully fleshed out story arc from inception (though they had to improvise when cancellation was expected, but didn't occur).

Too bad "Little House" isn't MA, my wife is a huge fan.

For my future reference, how can a person tell beforehand if an offering is MA compatible?

I loved B5 back in the day but I have skipped through some episodes semi recently and what I saw looked like something college film students would have put together for a mid year project...in the 90's. I did not watch an entire episode and I doubt it was a remaster FWIW.

I was just impressed with how bad it looked (especially compared to other stuff from the same era which aged much better), the low production value, tiny static sets, how they use camera cuts every 3 seconds to try to cover up for the lack of sets (probably just a single wall and a few props get moved around from take to take to make it look like a different side of the room), and how bad the acting was in general. OG Kirk / William Shatner would have gotten an oscar if he was on the show Wink

That being said, I still have very fond memories of Babylon 5 and the failed spin off Crusade.

Still one of the greatest scenes ever to hit TV:
