The 4060 at $800 is good, but the 7840hs has the fastest iGPU out there too, meaning that you can game on low-end and esports games with much less heat.

The credit from Amex is based on how much was charged to your account. Once in a great while, using special links will make your purchase ineligible for the credit because the charge will post to your card with a different vendor name. But, this doesn't happen in Dell's case.

That being said, anyone sign up for the 10% credit and get it. I created/used a new email address and already received a promotion email but no welcome 10% off coupon.

Ugh, I got a 4050 for this price from Bestbuy. I think this is one is a good choice, the 4060 with a screen that can do 100% sRGB. I'd get this but I already returned 2 other laptops to BB and have another 2 I'm trying out and returning one. I think too many returns at BB can ban me right?

Their reasons for why they ban some people and not others are up in the air, but yes too many returns of NEW product can get you banned.

How is the build quality on this laptop? Is it better than the Asus A15 or F15 series? Dell gaming laptops seem to get mixed reviews.

I wouldn't trust Dell gaming laptops. My Dell G15 has started making annoying clicking noises upon turning it on or waking it from sleep, and it's been past my warranty. Certainly low build quality.

I'm afraid it could turn into a more serious hardware issue. Don't know how long this shoddy laptop will last me. Will never buy a Dell again.

Did not need it but could not pass up, my total should be 810 + 49 MA tax - 120 amex - 81 cb = $658.

My wife's amex card also has 120 off 600, maybe I should have looked for something costing 1200 w/ tax.
