I took a $100 round trip from Columbus to Orlando during Christmas time (December 24th and then December 31st) and Frontier was totally fine. I don't see the hate behind it, it was cheap, it was punctual and the seats weren't as pathetic as people say it is. The bag policy at CMH is lenient, Orlando they cracked down a bit but not much, I would fly them again in a heartbeat, and for $19, it's a steal

For me it doesn't hit my market. Most flight deals don't. But I don't downvote because of that. I just don't like frontier, they nickel and dime for so many things, delta always seems to come out cheaper because of that.

You can't predict the charge and delay on this airline. But it's a good deal. I'll book if I fly solo or a couple, but for family and important event, I may not.

seats are always bad, thin, not comfortable, assigned seat cost extra. carry on extra, everything cost more money, except you and small bag fits under the seat.

Flew Frontier once. Noone was at the front counter to check bags until less than 45 min before departure time. Agents from other airlines had to page Frontier agents over the intercom multiple times until they finally appeared. And once they did show up, the staff was very rude. I was at the airport plenty early but still ended up having to rush thru security & hussle to the gate (with everyone else on the same flight).
Aside from that, didn't even save much after added fees.

I wouldn't take another Frontier flight for free.

Frontier regularly terrorizes passengers with their draconian carry-on policies. All passengers will be required to measure their bags during boarding, and will be required to pay $99 per leg if it doesn't fit perfectly. Sometimes, even if the bag DOES FIT, they'll still get you for that $99. There's plenty of evidence on X/Reddit/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok regarding these egregious "policies." Word is that gate personnel get a commission on that fee, so have fun getting ripped off.

As someone who lives here, unless you like warehouses or are looking to purchase a warehouse, no.

It is an hour outside of LA (and is a way better airport than LAX) so you can drive there for something more interesting.
