Use safe cut can opener if you don't want those metal particles to get into your food. Thanks to technology connections.

Which one? If you are referring to the Technology Connections, this is a video explaining the mechanisms of safe-cut can opener: https://youtu.be/i_mLxyIXpSY?si=NC3w_sWsT_TOftDP

If you are looking for the can opener, then here are some that I could find:
Manual - Amazon Basics Safe Cut Can Opener [a.co] - $13.10
Automatic - Hamilton Beach Smooth Touch Automatic Can Opener [a.co] - $32.85
Definitely more expensive than the deal posted on this thread, but I figured I should mention the "newer" types of can opener in case people are not aware of them.

The hammilton beach has good reviews but I see metal shaving reviews on those too. I never had that problem on the old school designs with sharp edges. Id rather cut my hand then injest metal shavings.

Do you really think cutting metal, like the older style openers, produces less shavings than prying the lid off like the safe models do? We have had the Hamilton Beach model for over ten years and never had any metal shavings. After reading thousands of reviews on hundreds of products over the years, I have learned there are many negative reviews that are not the fault of the product, but operator error.

I'm thinking it has to do with cans weren't designed to be cut that way and there may be some variance in the blade quality.
