I bought this and none of my 3 cats will eat it. I got the seafood variety pack since they seem to like that flavor. Granted they've been solid food eaters forever but one is so old and has went from 20 pounds to 8 and she's 14. She's been with me through thick and thin so I'm trying anything to put weight on her, including thyroid meds twice a day.
I bought the fancy feast version of this and she definitely prefers it over this. Just my 2 pennies

Is this stuff any good? I like my fancy feast gravy lovers, and make my displeasure known when my human gives me anything else.
My cats like it, but they are not picky. Grain free and the ingredient list is not too bad. It is certainly not high end but similar to Friskies or Fancy Feast.

Is a vet dosing the thyroid meds? If anything extra thyroid meds would generally worsen weight loss

Wonder Bound is using "Meat-by" products so personally I'll pass on that one.

Meat By-Products – is the non-rendered, clean parts, other than meat, derived from slaughtered mammals. It includes, but is not limited to lungs, spleen, kidneys, brain, livers, blood, bone, partially defatted low temperature fatty tissue, & stomachs & intestines freed of their contents. It does not include hair, horns, teeth & hoofs. It shall be suitable for use in animal food.
Unfortunately CatFoodDB (the only unbiased source I trust for wet cat food) hasn't reviewed them yet, but hopefully they will soon.

My cat used to love this until they changed the formula... Now he smells it and walks away. Tried ordering a few other times because I can't find anything he likes the he loved this one but same result.

Thyroid meds include Hypo and hyper. So no giving thyroid meds for hyper would not cause weight loss. Hyper is quite common in older cats. We have 2 on it and they are slowing gaining their weight back, and yes it is prescribed and regulated by a vet.
The picky senior fella & not-so-picky younger fella like it, when cycled with their other wet foods (Fancy Feast, Friskies, related). Grain-free, pate, related make it a decent meal (with their dry Royal-Canin Rx stuff).
maybe our only will eat fancy feast beef pate guy will like the beef one but, if not 4 cases using the double 15% off is a great deal to grab to donate to local shelter..
