Ordered last week and returned battery yesterday. Simple process and amazing deal. Vacuum is perfect for spot cleaning and for less than $20, no brainer.

How do you return a "free" battery and get money back? Does the receipt show a value for the battery? Or do you not use the receipt?

Now I saw how it works. If you add the promo, the vacuum becomes $17 and rest is for the battery, making the total as $50.
Once you get it, you return the battery and keep the vacuum for $17.

Returning the battery is assuming you have other Ryobi tools and don't need another battery.
