Natural sugar, from the #1 ingredient, dates. Dates are pretty low on the glycemic index. Along with that natural sugar comes fiber and potassium.

I would much rather have the natural sugars from RX Bars as opposed to the sugar alcohols from many other protein bars. Sugar alcohols = laxative effect

This boycott is a bit silly, like many recent food boycotts. I support companies with my wallet, but the comment he made versus the outrage seems disproportionate. I wonder how many people know how Kellogg started. It was a goal to replace meat and create a meal replacement from grains and not just a breakfast cereal. In the end, I support their cause more than his comment about saving money bothers me.
