Also, there's some error in the way they coded it in that when leaders ask for money, and you give it, they are insulted and your relationship gets worse. It's backwards. So you are in a pickle trying to get relationships where you want them.

I still haven't get into 20 turns yet. I am afraid if I get serious, I will be spending 1000s of hour like back in CIV3.

Great deal. I was weary about how it would play on a console, but "essentially" $3 as I will have no problem using the eShop coins, I'll take that risk

Back in the days when I had a slower computer, I used to limit the number of AI players in the game and play on smaller maps. I found that that greatly sped up the time between turns. When I played on phone/tablet, I usually do the same thing, 4-6 players, small maps, and it seems to work fine.
