Do i still need to confirm att email and go through pain of canceling account/number ?
two questions:
1) I ported a google voice number. How do I know that the port was successful? when I tried getting the passcode to cancel I received a notification from ATT to my google voice number saying that a PIN was requested (but I didn't get the passcode itself maybe because google voice cannot receive short text messages). Does that mean my google voice number is still active and the port hasn't occured yet? I was told I need to accept the term and condition for the port in to happen but I don't recall going through this step.
2) in the wiki there is a part about blocking the activation fee even after the 3 days have passed:

I don't understand this part, what is app/websote? is it something found in the myATT app?

2. I meant website. If ATT does send you a bill you can get tge activation fee voided by clicking on that link as it's immediate. ATT might plug this hole/won't allow you to do it.
