How is the gameplay on this? I bought the Hasbro game night which comes with Monopoly risk and trivial pursuit and I thought it was so slowly paced it was unplayable. Also from what I can tell this doesn't allow me to play against a friend in a different household?
I'm sorry but there was only one good digital monopoly game ever and I don't even remember which console it was on (between the gamecube, N64, and SNES). The rest are laughably bad.
That being said I will try this. Online play, multiple rule sets, and up to 6 players locally--I'm hopeful this will be the first exception to my previous statement.

Playing digital monopoly is rigged. It's always one sided so you can tell who's the one who is given a hand to win the game.
This game cheats and badly. If it were playing blackjack, it'd been kicked out of the Casino for counting the cards. How does it cheat? It manages to get around hotels so well. It'll triple double dice rolls to go to jail. It'll manage to get the right cards to bypass where the hotels are. There is luck, and then there is the game being fixed.
It looks good and plays smoothly, but oi! I don't play this.
