Also on Amazon (sold by focus camera) https://www.amazon.com/beyerdynam...B096L9CVRB

Oh yeah, I'll add on a review from a few years back when this mic was $300

The m70 is a really good dynamic for $70. It does have a some crunch and crispiness, in the upper frequencies. I find it works well for my voice and it has acceptable ambient environment sound rejection. In the review, linked by Tarkov in the previous post, to Podcaststage, Bandrew finds the microphone to bright for vocal work but potentially useful for recording some guitar crunch.

The pro-x M90 for $99, in the link from Tarkov, is an even better deal overall as it has a much more even and balanced sound. It doesn't have the treble boost of the M70 however being a generally sensitive condenser microphone it pics up every sound in an untreated room. So maybe not best for general podcasting in comparison to the M70.

There is also a Podcaststage review of the M90 here... https://youtu.be/pQqolpbbqKk?si=DfGZB9y49t0wSvUi

Both microphones appear well designed and have a solid feel. I own both and use them for different purposes and recommend them. One note for live streaming despite not being the least sensitive dynamic out there I feel the M70 benefits from a Fethead unless you have an audio interface with insane gain. These microphones were overpriced when originally release and in a crowded field of microphone choices failed to distinguish themselves. Now that they are greatly reduced in price I feel they are easy bargains. I suspect this pricing may be a fire sale prior to discontinuation. Grab them while they are available if interested.

Prices for these are back to $99 for the M70 and $150 for the M90. Still good prices but not quite the bargain they were. With any luck the prices will drop down again in a future sale.
