Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good rage against a cellphone company. But I'm confused by this one. Why are you feeling ditched that T-mo doesn't offer a test drive to current customers? Were you hoping to test out the T-mo network, even though you are already a customer?

What?! Why do you need a free test drive if you are already a T-Mobile customer? 🤦 I have plenty of complaints about T-Mobile, but this is just ridiculous! As for perks, have you never heard of T-Life or their Dining Rewards program?

and current TMO customer are left in a ditch... again.

Once you get enchanted and sign up for their service - forget about perks and discounts - same greedy BS as the others.
TMO is probably the best at offering current customers the same deal and new customers. Having a bad day?

The way to do this deal is to take an unlocked esim capable unused phone. Then sign up for the free 2 week trial of Cricket requesting a physical Sim.
https://slickdeals.net/f/16797950-cricket-wireless-offering-14-day-free-trial-includes-unlimited-talk-text-3-gb-data-5g-service?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

Set up Cricket and then sign up for this deal. Even after the Cricket trial ends the Tmobile service remains active

It's good for people who want to try out the network but I was shocked to see how close in price the T-Mobile plans are to AT&t and Verizon now. I'm not switching to save five bucks.
