Is going from a 7-8 y/o LG OLED B6 65", worth upgrading to this C3?
Will this TV ever come down to that? $1243 is decent but appears a bit expensive, no?
OLED is the way to go.
The colors and clarity on this TV are jaw-dropping. The TV speakers are also VERY good. I was debating as to whether I needed to hook up my old Samsung sound bar(I did).
Go to YouTube and watch some 4k or 8k videos. You will be floored!!!!

Samsung's are Qd oled
LGs higher end G series has MLA on their Woled
LGs are generally considered more color accurate, but Samsung has more color volume. it seems people prefer Samsung's vibrancy but LG gets closer to a reference image. They also handle darks better. But QD OLEDs are truly remarkable, theyre still fine tuning it but it's clear they're coming for everything LG got.

They do realize they only make SOME of them right?
They do not make the QD OLEDs the post you replied to was talking about. Those are made by Samsung themselves.
