Just got mine in. Really bought for the battery/charger, but the fan and lantern may get some use. The Bluetooth speaker is awful quality, but I imagine it would last forever with a 4ah battery or bigger.

My wife wants a battery-operated fan to stay cool this summer (when outside with a baby). She said this DeWalt-powered fan [amazon.com] was highly recommended, but of course the batteries cost WAY more than the fan, and I'm not already bought into a battery/tool system.

I thought this Ryobi one might save me some money, but I wanted to see how long it lasts with the included battery, and found this answer from RYOBI on HomeDepot.com. NEVERMIND!

The speaker is junk , my iPhone is louder. For the cost the clip on fan and light ain't bad and getting a charger and battery makes it a solid deal. But the speaker is complete garbage.

Not sure how they messed up that response but that is absolutely incorrect.

I can speak from personal experience, plus check the links to the fan and battery kit. I'm not sure that approx 10 hours on low is accurate but even on high you should get a couple of hours.
