That's why you see 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage compared to lower tier 100% sRGB in typical gaming laptops at this price like Acer Nitro 16, Legion 5 Pro and Slim series or HP Omen series. Also, it has a virtual Dialpad which is supported by multiple creator apps, including the popular Adobe ones, clearly indicating this is geared towards that direction.
Now, due to its high performance components and especially, maximum Power configuration for those hardware, it can game pretty well but the price was a lot higher than typical gaming laptops at this price (In fact $1500+ in all other retailers) and that's why it was not recommended over other pure gaming laptop choices. However, at this price, this is a pretty solid choice for gaming as well.

This generation of gaming laptop is lackluster at best. I have little desire to buy now. I guess my fate is zen5 + camm2 or zen6 + camm2.

Pros:
- the screen is amazingly good even though its not OLED
- performance is actually very good on games I've played so far 150+ frames on Overwatch, PUBG, modernwarfare
Cons:
- The placement of the touchpad is weird and requires adjusting to
- the heat produced from the side (where your mouse is on a desk) is very uncomfortable and makes it cumbersome to use
- the battery life doesn't seem great at all

The off-center keyboard makes it impossible to adjust between my work laptop, macbook air, bluetooth keyboard, and this gaming laptop. Muscle memory is very hard to switch.
Would be fine if this is the only laptop you use. Would be great for everything.
You get a cheapened experience and lower build quality (hence the lower price), and roll of the dice long term reliability. You can read about it on the ASUS reddit sub for this model. You are never surprised in a good way, and you always inevitably have some regrets or down the road let-downs.
Same deal with HP too....and their Victus model vs Omen. Victus may suffice, but it's a night and day difference with the Omen. Evidence of cost cutting all over the place. If I'm opening my velcro wallet to make a purchase, I might as well open it a little wider and get something where the quality matches the specs.

I would like to travel and make music as well but I'm trying to think that I should just record people at my house and soundproof my basement.. I'm really not too sure I'm stuck in a slump here You guys could really use some genuine advice please... I could always do live music but I do want to have a good reliable laptop to travel with and record music with different artists etc!
please I'll be very grateful for your feedback thank you all.
