Based on comments in a previous thread, The Q is more budget friendly while it is newer. Lot's of helpful info in that thread. Some scary comments about receiving defective units as well.

Mopping isn't worth it really until you go much higher in price. Spinning, raising mop, with auto wash and fill is nice. The dragging self filled mops are not really worth the trouble.

I messaged them last night and they got back to me already by morning. They just want some info and said they will replace my unit. They seem pretty good for support, its to bad the quality control going out was not better so they would of picked up the problem before shipping it to me.

This! Have a deebot ecovac 850 got at best buy for like $450 we had loved but last few months all we get is bumper is stuck and won't work. Tried to fix it some but always comes back. Still looking for a fix but next time costco only for a purchase to prevent getting stuck with a broken $500 vacuum

Q5+ was delivered Friday and I set it up yesterday.

I thought I had a bad unit as it took me over 15 mins to get it to connect to both my phone and my Wifi. Like others have said everything looked brand new and once it all finally connected it showed it was used once last month for 6 mins in a perfectly rectangular area with zero obstructions (test bed for refurbs?).

I sent it out on both it's mapping and maiden cleaning voyages and I was very impressed. It did a much better job than my several year old Eufy and cleaned 1800 ft in 170 mins and only used 55% of the battery.
