I want to buy this game however I'm afraid that by the time I beat it, the trade in value drops to $3 or something at GameStop. Am I being reasonable to myself as I don't want to feel ripped off at the end?

It's $4.90 right now for GameStop trade-in. I'd buy and enjoy it, and know GS will not give you great money back. You could try to sell it elsewhere if you want more. Smilie

Looks like it matches all time low so I'll bite on this for myself. Thanks, OP!

Count the hours you play it. $5 an hour is very cheap entertainment

Honesty I was hoping to get $15 in private sale but I know people on OfferUp are reasonably cheap. Heck this game doesn't get any love for $10 used. Frown

The cheapest person around is you.

Always rent from library.

I got the digital version of jeopardy on my Xbox. I've never finished a game because it crashes. Hope this one actually works!

There are games that keep their value as they age and there are these that absolutely don't since they're basically the same title just repackaged for a new year or console generation, just like sports games. The sooner you realize this fact, you can enjoy your time for what it is.

Honestly guys it is a good buy for both. Ok maybe only for elder millennials and gen x. Example if you have fond memories of playing either game on NES back in the 80s or early 90s and just how cool it was that a GAMESHOW was in your video game console. So that's why I'll probably grab this.

These games suck. Wheel has no production value as they didn't want to pay Pat and Vanna (the Wii U version is better), and Jeopardy sucks for the same reason and more. I bought this a couple years ago at this price and I've regretted it ever since. I hate supporting money grabs like this.

$5 an hour is actually really expensive entertainment - on par with going to a movie. Compare that to TOTK which is $50 and is easily 100-200 hours of entertainment. Audiobooks, regular books, and streaming services are all likely to be sub-$1/hour entertainment options as well.

Thanks "well actually" guy -- my point still stands regardless of how cheap your audiobooks are. I don't need to explain it any further.
