Most of what is left are the 27.5s because the popularity of that wheel size is down, that part is true.
Also the framing of the industry failing and crashing and whatnot that we keep reading/watching YT channels pushing etc, is IMHO, in bad faith: these companies enjoyed an unprecedented growth in sales and revenue during and the first years after COVID. Sales being "halved" soon-after they were doubled is an expected/predictable correction and not a catastrophe.
Regular people are supposed to be mature and save for a rainy day instead of spending all they got, but companies are "obviously" exempt to do the same with rainfall profits.

Just bought a marzocchi bomber z1 for under $300 last week.
Can't even get rid of my new take-off recon for $100 on marketplace.

What was the send-in process? Did you have to pay or was it warranty? How long was it gone? It sounds like it may not even be worth it if yours came back sticky anyway?
I guess I should've gotten the OneUp but I got sucked in by the Fox name/marketing/look lol.

I've spent a lot of money on mtb parts, I know this stuff isn't cheap but I also know there is no reason for a quality fork to cost close to a grand or more. There really is not that much too them even factoring in the aluminum forging. Tolerances don't even have to be precise because bushings and rubbers seals make up for it (Rockshox is proof of that). Fox doesn't even have an excuse anymore ever since they moved production from California to China.

I was considering a trek e-bike for commuting, but the fx+ 2 has a sealed, non user serviceable battery........
The idea of a bike becoming e-waste is disgusting.
Only so many folks can afford to put thousands towards a toy and only a small subset of those choose to do so

Not saying anything about the quality, I've heard good things, but there are a few ways to get the same post, sometimes with a lower cost (albeit potentially without the same warranty).
Disclaimer: This is something I read on the internet a long time ago while doing research - you may want to do your own due diligence to confirm before acting on it. It may not be true any more or I may have mixed up the brands involved.
That said I have 2 PNW levers (one normal Loam and one 2x to fit around a remote shock lockout) and they're great.
