I have 3 of these that I got from Amazon at full price. It's a nice fan, if you're an attic fan believer then you'll like it. If you're an attic fan hater then you'll comment below about how attic fans are bad because they suck cool air out of the house and make your AC work harder. To each their own

That is the whole house fan you are referring to

That is all variable by your location's day and night temp swings, humidity, etc.. Sometimes used for just the attic though. The thought being the sun baking the roof all day heats up the attic air and removing that superheated air actually helps the AC cool the conditioned areas of the house.

In NJ at the Linden store, but check brickseek (login required), I see others available at stores near me. For example, I see 13 available at clearance price at the Brooklyn store.

Few in socal locations, but all still $159. Maybe these were internet orders never picked up.

Fantastic price. Looks like they're clearing out the 2.0 model for the 3.0 model that has higher speeds. QuietCool is clearing out their inventory for $110 now.

I thought attic fans were used when the outside temperature was cooler than the indoor temperature (e.g., at night) and these suck in air from open or cracked windows.

A bunch of stores in TN had yellow reduced tags but every one I've seen is sold out. Mainly because they carry so few in the first place.
