Hub Motor vs Mid Drive Motor: Which One is Better?
The choice between a hub motor and a mid-drive motor is largely dependent on your budget and use case. If you need an ebike for daily commutes and will likely use it on paved or unpaved tracks, then a hub motor is a better, more value-for-money-for option. However, if you need a superior ebike with exceptional off-roading and uphill capabilities, a premium mountain ebike with mid-drives would be better.
Hyper does a terrible job when it comes to providing sizing info for their bikes--not a size chart in sight on any of their models. I have a 5ft-3 gf and in most brand she's a Small in most other brands that provide multiple frames for each model.
No throttle. Snobs will sneer that throttles are for dummies even though they're just an optional alternative to default pedal assist that cost nothing to make -- or they'll claim it's illegal even though it practically isn't. Just ignore them.
Agreed. My Harley goes at least 100 mph faster and only costs $19,400 more. If I'm cruising casually with the fam, it's got to be at an exorbitant speed.
