100% this. There's nothing they can renew in a hard drive. They are not replacing the motor bearings, changing the actuators, or refilling the helium. You're buying USED hard drives that are 4 years or older that's been used in data centers.

damn, looks like a good deal. I bought a renewed 16tb Seagate HDD for $150 so an extra 2tb for the same price would have been awesome.

Not too loud when used in UNRAID. Windows storage spaces makes it loud enough to hear across my house. I can't hear it when using Unraid.
