Doesn't seem worth it compared to the $999 Bestbuy deal with respectable specs: Ryzen 9, Geforce 4060, 16gb RAM

If the only difference is the GPU then this probably isn't worth more then $1600...

That's about the best deal going. It destroys the value proposition on a lot of other models, even their own in the same product line like the 4070/80/90 SKUs and all of the 2024 G14 models.

I agree with regard to 4070 and 4080 model but the 4090 model has the mini-LED display to further differentiate it (besides being sufficiently boosted in games and coming with more RAM).
