Data throughput for these is over 20 times slower, at 480 mbps. OP's deal is 10,000 mbps.

The appeal of these cables is the transfer speed of 10Gbps vs the 480Mbps that are more commonly found in cables that are mainly used for charging. This is especially important for high throughput devices such as external NVME enclosures, monitors, usbc docks, etc...

Ive been looking for a bulk amount (at least 40) of name brand 6ft USB C cables for my office. Amazon has a 5 pack of Anker USB C 60w cables for $18- so $3.60 each. Anyone else know of a better deal?

got it- Im not worried about transferring data. Smilie Just need to charge iphone 12 and ipad 10 devices. I already have lots of 20W and 30W USB C Wall chargers.

If I had to guess, it's so that customers can be sure that approximately 90 degrees is safe. I'd rather something be tested to work in harder conditions that what it gets labeled for.

That being said, it could also be a typo. The tests could have really been at 90 degrees.
