That would mean sustained sequential read and write speeds would be drastically reduced right?

Noticed this is a brand new model with a lower TBW rating (1200TBW for 2TB 482 model) than the older 480 model (1400 TBW for the 2TB 480 model).

Perhaps the heatsink? The one reviewed had a heatsink this does not appear to have one.
