I got mine for $140 during the Walmart deal. I like it, but it's heavy, and the suction housing that lives on top of the brush rollers is very difficult to clean if you get a lot of carpet fibers or pet hair into it.
That said, the heated drying function is solid, and the carpet cleaner doesn't seem to overuse water. I think I like it, but I've never used a Big Green, so I have no good frame of reference for how good it is at actually cleaning, but it seems to pull a lot of dirt out of even freshly vacuumed rugs.

awesome find, in for 1. I almost bought this at full price for Christmas, but decided to hold off because of the price. It's the top recommended model on Wirecutter.
Anyone tried to clean the stains on mattress with this ?
I really believe most of the carpet cleaners (house hold use) are. pretty similar. Its just that this has an automatic feature where you don't have to guess on when to hold the trigger and when not to hold it. It does it automatically. This does dry really well though.
However, when it comes to removing stains, especially really old stains, it wont remove it. I'm pretty convinced none of the household carpet cleaners will remove really old stains either though.
I like it compared to Hover. ( I used 3 hover so far in my life time before trying this one. The water jug is relatively small though, I find my self refilling the water tank after one room. (I go back and fourth few times on the same spot though)
However the small water tank comes at a light weight! I got it for 250 a year ago at amazon
I have the icarpet model that doesn't have the flashy screen on it but so far I love it. I gave it a shot since it was on sale and I enjoy it way more that my bissell 2x revolution. It's soooo much quieter. You can actually use it without it destroying your ears, does a pretty good job cleaning and all the accessories are easily removable and easy to clean. This is a solid deal for someone looking to upgrade.
The Tineco carpet solution is very expensive. Do you think I can just use the same amount of any other brand carpet solution, or does the concentration need to be adjusted?

This is a similar percentage discount for a Tineco carpet cleaner.
I missed the walmart deal back in November but jumped on this one. Thank you for posting.
Lol... good luck
