I bought this backpack. It's not a $40 backpack. It's a $12 backpack. Small and quality is okay but nothing like the more expensive Targus bags.

I have this backpack for months now, the blue one

I use it in a larger backpack, or by itself depending on how many layers of protection I want / contrasted by weight.

this one lasted me about 8 months until the zipper broke. you get what you pay for. definitely not $40 quality.

Cheap price so maybe that's a factor here but Targus has a horrible warranty practice. I purchased a Targus made Lenovo branded bag and when I received it, one internal Pocket was sewn in upside down. I contacted targus who was responsive but after a bunch of back and forth they told me they will replace the bag after I mail the defective bag back to them at my cost. It was defective upon arrival and they still make the customer pay? Never again for anything Targus made.

I bought this bag last time it was posted, and I like it. The blk one seems fine for basic usage, obviously not for travel and such. I use it as my daily bag.

i think this is the third time this has dropped to this price. i bought a black one during the first, and three more for gifts the second.

it's my everyday pack for my laptop / work gear. and it's my personal item when traveling (fairly frequently).

this bag has been great. i'm not super careful with it, but i don't thrash it around either. absolutely recommend for similar usage. having to resist getting another...

(edit) fwiw my laptop is 16.2, in a sleeve, and fits.

My zipper broke withi a year.
Also some stitching started breaking earlier.
