The lid is almost free floating, with the primary support mechanism being the air pistons on the sides. My lid did slightly bend up on the edges, but it was still water tight. Not worth full price, but for $81 it's a pretty good deal

I have 2 and they are great. EASILY hold a 150 lb man sitting on them and have held up to the Texas sun like it is nothing. Much better than my disintegrating Suncast.

It's not bug tight, though. Spiders made a Home in mine over the winter. I will have to get everything out and move the spiders out safely to area behind my shed.

Purchased this last week at this price. Wife is happy with it for the price.

FYI, One of the corner block inserts on the lid was incorrect on my NIB product (two lefts, instead of a left/right). Company is mailing us another one.

Bought this for $100 last year. Love it. Fits large couch cushions for my deck perfectly. The lid does tilt up a bit on the sides but I've never had issues with water getting in. Also, it's an outdoor box so of courses bugs will get in.

I had a similar issue where the lid was missing an end cap so they sent an entire new lid instead of just the rubber cap.

we don't have 150 pound men in Texas.

J/k that only applies to San Antonio. I wish I was 150 pounds.

I went with the 230 gal for $104. Thanks Opie!

Have had ours going in 4 years. We purchased at full price and have been happy with it. When originally purchased one of the metal pieces was bent beyond repair, but th company promptly sent us out the new one.

I'm seeing stock at Alpharetta and Duluth for about $80. You can try setting your main club to one of those.

The problem with this is the mice get in. I don't care about bugs. But mice loooved this box last winter and destroyed the cushions inside and lived a great life in the winter. If anyone has any tips to avoid that I'm all ears otherwise this is useless for cushion storage.
