The lid is almost free floating, with the primary support mechanism being the air pistons on the sides. My lid did slightly bend up on the edges, but it was still water tight. Not worth full price, but for $81 it's a pretty good deal

I have 2 and they are great. EASILY hold a 150 lb man sitting on them and have held up to the Texas sun like it is nothing. Much better than my disintegrating Suncast.

Was able to pick one up for $65, unfortunately I had to paid $4 for pickup since I didn't live close to the store. Wanted to make sure they had it before driving 30 miles. Thanks Ops.

So this is really only a deal if you are already a Sam's Club member or are thinking about becoming one.
