Which Asians? It's a big continent a lot of different people. Typical for a racist to generalize them all to be one.
The Census Bureau defines a person of the Asian race as "having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam."
Unfortunately, as far as I know, when they say "asian fit" on eyewear, it's usually referring to flatter noses. So it's a general term and not really fitting of all Asians as you pointed out.
