Wow surprised these things aren't selling well. I really enjoy mine. I paid $150 for mine at Costco originally, returned and rebought at $130, and then return and rebought again at $99. Now too lazy to another return and rebuy for another $20 savings after shipping

Probably because few need/want. I have an old ninja blender that just sits in the cabinet, although there isn't anything particularly wrong with it.
This thing is great. Got one at 99.97 and price adjusted at 69.97 (Costco). It works great and is the new go to. Boxed up the vitamix as this is much more compact, easier to handle, and much more aesthetically pleasing on the countertop.
The 1000watt motor is enough to liquify pineapple, ginger, oats, berries, spinach, kale, etc. (not all at once, not sure if I would want to drink that).
Does this device have removable gaskets like the Blendjet? I can't really tell from the video. I hate those on the Blendjet, so trying to avoid it on the next one I buy. Still $69 at my Costco. Waiting them out till $50.

How easy is it to clean the blades and the ridges inside of the base? Had a nutribullet similar to this and the base where the blades rested got real hard, almost as if it got rusty and would not turn as easily as Day 1.

It's pretty easy to clean. When I'm done blending I rinse off the blade and then later when I finish the drink I add water and dish soap and blend it for about 30 sec to a minute.
