As a usps carrier I wear this when it rains and I stay extremely dry! I only get wet from me sweating cause rain gear gets hot

I've carried this backpacking a few times. It's somewhat fragile but has held up surprisingly well. Definitely fully waterproof and light. Be advised that they are cut large and baggy. You may want to consider sizing down.

I've been seeing this a lot on items I consider buying these days.

Thanks for posting - this is to the rain jacket what "not polarized" is to sunglasses threads.

These use disposable quality fabric, think nonwoven material found in PPE suits/masks but a bit thicker. Definitely not meant for everyday use. Very prone to ripping. Please consider spending $10-15 more for a Columbia rain jacket on sale and have something you can use everyday.

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/929826 for a cheap one right now for $26 but if you can wait I would try to get a nicer omnitech one for $35 on sale or $50 normal price.

I bought watertight ii and really like it. Got it a while back for $35. It has been $35 on amazon, Columbia, and backcountry multiple times in the past year if you are patient. If you need it now, you can normally find it for $50 depending on color/size, I would happily pay $50 for it.

The Frogg Toggs rain pants I own are clearly not meant for black tie events, and that's okay because they have another purpose. They do the job nicely and don't disintegrate in mud and such. As for rain jackets, there are others that are better than this.

See what options you have within your budget.

I hear that, I just don't understand the urge to plaster your companies name dead center on every product you sell. At that, I don't understand why people want to do the free advertising in the first place, so its probably a me problem.
