Mostly from the raisins and dates, only 4 grams of added sugar. Using this logic, an apple would be a sugar bomb too.
Fun fact. This cereal is actually healthier and more honest about serving size than other cereals. For example, typical "unhealthy cereals" intentionally use smaller serving sizes to lower numbers on sugar/carb, etc. Study their boxes and you'll see that many of them use more or less 30g as a serving size. But, in reality, 30g isn't a lot, and most of us eat more than that. This cereal is more honest and doesn't try to deceive us that way. It uses 54g as its serving size, which is more realistic. So, when you read numbers and compare, you need to keep that in mind. To demonstrate a point, many think that plain original Cheerios is healthier than this cereal. But, it's actually not true. Cheerios' serving size is 39g with 29g of total carb (74% carb). This cereal is 54g with 40g of total carb (74% carb), so carb ratio is actually the same. But, this cereal has more variety of ingredients, which makes it more enjoyable and nutritious. Don't be fooled by number games that other cereal boxes use.
It's cereal, what do you expect. If your going for keto than cereal is obviously out. If you're trying to lose weight than don't consume as many calories, that goes for a keto diet as well.

High carb count either way. If you are skinny, go for it, but if trying to lose weight such as keto, it has too many carbs. Canola oil is also bad.

You can lump them all together as cereal. One is not really better than another.
I don't blame you for thinking that way, but in reality, there are healthier/unhealthier cereals for valid reasons. Cereals with higher fiber and protein contents are healthier, and it also affects how long we stay full vs feeling hungry again. They also help cereals to be digested slowly, which prevents a spike in blood sugar level. Cereals with more simple sugar (e.g. added sugar) with less fiber or protein cause an acute elevation in blood sugar followed by crashing, which is not good for our system (and can make them more prone to health issues over time). Please know that I am not trying to lecture you. I only know this because I was required to take advanced nutrition courses back in college. If I hadn't, I wouldn't know any of these things.

We are in the same boat, I took every nutrition class and physiology and kinesiology you can imagine.

I either have eggs or a protein shake I make for breakfast.

Processed food is processed food.

there are 12.5 grams of sugar in a tablespoon of sugar..... there are 13 grams in here......by here I mean a serving of 3/4 of a cup.....which is not much if actually measured.

Might sound strange but I remove the dates and raisans and add cinnamon and fresh blueberries. Just tastes better to me.
