Don't think about getting regular ticket unless you plan to ride unpopular or older rides. You will not be able to ride more than a few of the new and popular rides with some lines reporting 2+ hour wait, and 3+ hour on weekends or close to holidays.
Universal has gone downhill in recent years and it's sad because they don't care how many people occupies the park. So they cram people and let you worry about the lines.
Express is fine but it doesn't help when you have to navigate though sea of people to walk around the Park.

Don't bother getting the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™
Early Access Tickets, it was a complete waste of money. Everyone bum rushed that area in the morning when the park opens. Instead go an hour or two before the park closes, there were no lines.

$109 is the standard price for Tues-Thurs in early May on the Universal website. It's cheaper than the any-day tickets you have to buy at the gate, but not competitive with their own online pricing

What are you talking about? I got the early access and was able to get on the Mario ride in less than 15 minutes, was able to get all power ups, then was instantly able to get in Bowser Jr's lair. Also got to queue for toadstool cafe and got in there within 10 minutes of my queue. Was well worth the $20 and let me explore the rest of the park with decent wait times while everyone was lining up for super Nintendo world.

Agreed, either the early entry or the last hour before the park closes are the best times for Mario Kart. A 90min+ wait is too long, but honestly, the castle is so full of stuff to look at that spending up to an hour is worth it the first time. Similar to the Harry Potter castle when it first opened.

Season pass holder, went 4x in the last year and if you watch the wait times on the app, you can avoid the really long lines. We also had season passes the first year of Harry Potter, which I think was 6-7 years ago and I don't think the park has gone downhill at all since then. Nintendo world and the updated Jurassic ride are great, HP is a good time, and the classics like Simpsons, the mummy, and the studio tour are still fun. Skip the secret life of pets.

Need 2 days if you want to see and ride everything. You can get by with one day if you're content with doing most of the stuff. Nintendo World eats up a lot of time if you buy the watch tracker, hunt for coins everywhere, and want to play every power up game plus Mario Kart. If it's crowded, just doing that could take 4+ hours.

Also, if you buy the interactive wand for Harry Potter area, just going around and standing in line to do the 12 activities with the wand is easily an hr. And that is not counting how long it will be to wait for the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride. Super Nintendo world will eat up a ton of your time.

They don't tend to discount it outside of an extremely limited number of passes once/year. You might be able to get a small discount on VIP through something like Undercover Tourist but it's pretty negligible.

The prices for most days seem to be the same as directly at the Universal website. No deal.
