I had to hack my lego john deere tractor to be able to swap the computer piece out for a working one. what happened to right to repair!

When I was a kid I was the same way, but ended up getting an engineering degree. For me, Technic was intimidating because there were so many extra pieces that weren't rectangles. With the most basic Legos, you're just stacking rectangles that are different colors. Instructions are easy to follow. I guess I thought Technic would be way harder and I wouldn't be able to follow the instructions with all the non-rectangle pieces. But now I get it and understand how cool they are. I actually bought this one for my dad since my grandfather worked for John Deere.
