I searched and couldn't find this deal on this site. I think this is an awesome price especially if you use the Amex card deal of 120 off 599.

HDMI 1.4 in 2024 is unfortunate. No 4k displays unless you like 30 frames per second.

I checked the non-touch version of this recently. Found reviews saying it gets so hot you can't touch the surface on one side, the other side stays cool, and similar stories. I've been looking into Dells since before Black Friday, and all of the Dells currently available in my price range and costing hundreds above as well have loads of reviews saying they get extremely hot (to the point of shutting itself down regularly) and/or fan noise that is unusually loud and disturbing.

I'm a big Dell fan, since I buy extended warranties and I like theirs the best, so I'm saying look into this carefully not as a hater but as someone who would prefer to stick with Dell if I can find one that suits without horrifying reviews. I'm hoping there will be new releases with better reviews building up as the year goes on.

I'm interested in this as a desktop replacement. I may even have the the lid closed most of the time. Would I be able to use the Thunderbolt 4 port (with a hub) to power two DP monitors (extended desktop) or the Thunderbolt 4 to power a DP monitor and the HDMI to power an HDMI monitor (also extended desktop) with the lid closed? Thanks!

Could be the one with the GPU. Never try to put a dedicated GPU into a slim profile like this. Run an eGPU if at home.

I bought this laptop. It's cool, well-built, and not noisy. I found the screen quality to be not that great.

Mine came 1 hour after. I would try another email and sign up. I signed up with 2 emails and only 1 got the coupon.

Also I have the Inspiron 16 and its as cool as a cucumber, dead quiet, and no issues. Great machine. Touch screen which I disabled because it's annoying

You are right, I bought this laptop two weeks ago and just heats up so high you can't keep it on your lap, it has even integrated graphics not dedicated gpu, avoid this laptop like plague
