that is a load of crap. I've used 8ah's frequently with the "regular" chainsaw and no issues.

This one will cut larger wood, is heavier, has shorter battery life in smaller wood. If you need the bar length this is the one. Quality is essentially the same. They are the same company after all. Don't get caught up in the hype that this has any relationship to the red tools your grandfather made famous.

I'm guessing they mean the battery will affect the weight balance of the saw, which is true, but not a big deal.

I bought this last week and got it in today it was clearly refurbished they cleaned it up and doctored it up so it looked brand new but now I know why it was at a great price I guess a lot of suckers will end up stuck with the used one and think it's new
