Looking at an anniversary trip with the wife. We live in the US and she really wants to visit one of these overwater bungalos. I've been casually watching resorts in Tahiti, Fiji, Maldives, etc. This one caught my eye because it has travel dates into January 2025, which is when we want to celebrate our anniversy.

I've never booked through Travelzoo, so I'm curious about feedback about them.

Looks like it's about another $1K when you land to get a seaplane transfer to the resort.

In addition to being potentially arrested for wearing a swimsuit or drinking alcohol due to sharia law in the Maldives you also have to be very concerned if you have an Israel passport as the Islamic state is trying to bar entry to all Israelies.

Many folks don't understand that millions of Muslims live in Israel so now the Maldive Islamists are reconsidering the ban. If you support Israel then you should not visit this place.
