It does not. I use a portable battery with USB ports both screens are powered over USB-c.
A better implementation of this idea will make a killer remote play setup for when the TV is taken.

thanks for your recommendation. i just received mine and while its not fantastic its actually pretty good and useable considering its price. it works well with my Samsung s23 ultra in DEX mode and bluetooth keyboard. now to hook it up to my raspberry pi and finish working on a few things. i mainly bought this to screen mirror and desktop extend when working. so far so good on that aspect. next is to jump to a 2.5k touchscreen monitor.

i think i paid 70 or even 80 for mine. 60 is even more absurd. like i said different brand but they appear to all be essentially equivalent.
i dont really use mine yet but thats a me problem. it's a lot nicer and more versatile to have around and enabled me to throw away my ancient space hog huge bezels 1080p 27" monitor i'd been keeping for backup. i think it can pair really well with a mini pc, security cameras or retro consoles etc. mine specifically will also run off the usb c out on a series x, so if you're using with a series x dont need a separate plug.
one of those $120 n100 mini pc's and a $60 monitor would get you a full new pc setup for 180. nuts. granted, i suppose small monitors with a stand can be easily had for 90-100 anyway.

Mine had some settings or picture modes that made the picture a lot brighter. Maybe try to experiment with those. i forget now the details. i think out of the box it was set to eco picture mode or something and was kinda dim. changing the picture mode to pretty much any of the others iirc cured it and made it plenty bright at least indoors i dunno about outside. but mine was a different nonsense chinese brand. "forhelp" is the brand name of mine and i see it is currently $72. it is kinda confusing but i think the amazon page for mine is advertising 72% SRGB and 250 nits in one section but then another claims 300 nits. either way it's bright enough and the picture looks excellent to me. they have a 4k, 400 nit 100% rgb model advertised at 269, i think i'd save the dough, 70 vs 270 is a huge difference in price.

I actually bought one FANGOR from this post and the WUAWE you linked, both just arrived today.
I can't tell the difference in color / display quality (I'm just using it for spreadsheets),
but the WUAWE is much much better in features.
The WUAWE allows for USB-C power passthrough, allowing you to hook a USB-C charger to the WUAWE, and then the other USB-C cable connecting WUAWE to laptop, and it's able to power & charge all devices daisy-chained. Great cable and ports saver.
I've been unable to get it to work with the FANGOR, so I would still need to have a USB-C charging cable connected to laptop, in addition to a USB-C cable from laptop to FANGOR monitor (using up all my 2 USB-C ports), making it so I wouldn't be able to connect any additional USB-C devices, such as another portable monitor.
I bought another WUAWE and will test whether they can daisy-chain / passthrough video also, if yes, then amazing deal for the price.
