Just stop.

IPS and MiniLED are not mutually exclusive terms. This laptop is MiniLED and you people who have no idea what you're talking about are just causing unnecessary confusion.

There is no version of this laptop which is not MiniLED.

specs are much better than the 18" Asus from BestBuy a couple months back ($2K).
- 250Hz mini-LED vs 240hz normal IPS panel
- 32GB (2x 16GB) SO-DIMM DDR5 vs 16GB (2x 8GB) SO-DIMM DDR5

It's so frustrating how Intel/Nvidia use the same model numbers to disguise performance.

This 13900HX/4080 is roughly equivalent to a desktop 12700k/3080 and that's highly dependent on the laptop cooling and power availability.

I wish they'd make the names equal to performance across the whole lineup.

That's sad, as my parents told me I am allowed to only spend 2000$ on a laptop and not a single cent more 😭

My parents never threw $2k at me to throw away on a gaming computer. Go cry a river to someone who might care?
