Order something for immediate s&s delivery, then go to the s&s settings and change the date to whenever you want your next s&s delivery to arrive. Then order another item to be delivered on that day and cancel the first order. Try to always have one active subscription, even if it's just for something 6 months in the future, so you don't "lose" your monthly subscription day
Here are some lesser items available as well if you aren't trying to get anything useful:

7-Oz La Moderna Pasta [amazon.com] $0.48
2-Oz Apple Barrel Paint [amazon.com] $0.54
2-Oz Apple Barrel Paint [amazon.com] $0.58
8-Oz Hunts Tomato Sauce [amazon.com] $0.63
7-Oz La Moderna Pasta [amazon.com] $0.50
I have these 5 items set for every 2 weeks. Costs an extra $5 a month but the extra savings is worth it. I donate the paint to local daycare for the kiddos since I'll never use it.
Thanks op
This thread topic should be a dedicated or a running thread on this forum. It would come in handy for monthly deliveries. In my humble opinion.

I'd love to see what % of sub and save orders are canceled before the next delivery lol.

The number of people that forget and let the sub ship cant outweigh the people that sub and save only for the 5-30% off then cancel.

Obviously a % of people just let it roll because its something they will buy anyway and small price fluctuations might not matter to them.

Yes, my manservant is very careful about cancelling S&S orders. Fortunately, Amazon is very good about warning you a week in advance of your next order.

I don't expect that to continue, because it's not to Amazon's benefit, so I told my manservant to put to do items in Google Calendar a week before his S&S dates.
I cancel mine when I get the email saying that my order shipped

Has anyone figured out how to navigate Amazon's new S&S policy of mandatory immediate delivery? This just started showing up for me in the past month, with no ability to manually override to the next "official" S&S delivery date. It appears to be account-driven and not always widespread, based on the posts around here.

I've basically stopped using it after many years, I used to always stock up on 5 things, now it's almost impossible unless you're willing to wait on the second delivery of the item (at whatever the price is that day)

Thank you! They've changed the process twice in the past year and the tactics are getting harder to keep up with. Ordering and then immediate cancellation worked, and now I have an "anchor item" for next month with a date to tie everything else to.

Are you talking about out when your next S&S delivery date is like 30 days out and they default to the option of getting 5% now with immediate delivery? If so, there should be an option to "Change" the delivery date (on the product page). This will let you select your next official S&S delivery date and work toward your 15% off.

Under the Subscribe and save tab you will see your new date of delivery (let's say March 12th) there's usually a microscopic tab that you can change the date to your original subscribe and save delivery date you have to do this up to three times every month before it remembers your original subscribing save date.

So my question is this done on purpose or is done by accident ?Confused

The exact same thing has been happening with my account. It's usually when the items haven't arrived from the current S&S. I miss out on any S&S deals for a few days when orders are in transition so to speak.i have not been able to change to the next month's S&S date when it shows the 5% now.

Amazon has been changing things all over, sometimes back & forth.

If ur S&S order is set for immediate delivery, there is usually BUT NOT ALWAYS a tab near the date of delivery that says something like 'more delivery info' or 'change delivery' when you are ordering. Click that tab & you will see immediate delivery or with your regular S&S choices. But that tab has disappeared for me from time to time, I have no idea why.

More irritating is that I have currently lost the option of using my Amazon GC balance to pay for S&S. Even though I have checked 'always use GC first if available' in my payment choices, it always defaults to my credit card. In the past I've been able to go to each order individually from the orders summary tab and manually change the payment to GC balance, but in the last month or so, that option does not appear.

I've looked at my individual S&S orders, and there is a box that says 'use GC balance' that seems to default to no - nothing happens when I change it to yes. When when I go to 'update my payment method' in my payment choices screen, it is as it was before with 'always use GC balance first'. So frustrating. Once when I said 'update' with my same payment info & 'apply it to all orders', it did update & automatically change to GC for all my placed orders - but it reverted to credit card default for new orders going forward. I'm also afraid if I 'update', I might lose coupons in place. Again, so frustrating.
