In for one with $10 off $75 purchase coupon. Makes up for shipping not being free. Thanks OP!

It is coupon they send you if you subscribe to their email and text offers but it did not work for me. Listed item does not qualify.

Edit: the code they sent via text did not work but one they emailed did. So try both.

I got this a year and a half ago, great torque wrench so far, especially if this is the latest model that uses AA batteries.

How long does a tool like this last? Wondering if I need it for very rare use
There is no shelf life on a torque wrench. Just remove the batteries when in storage.

Is this too long for use on brake changes? The front wheel I can turn but how about the rear wheels?
You don't want this for setting torque on brake caliper carrier and guide pin bolts - too big. Be careful with those cheap Harbor Freight ones, as well… I overtorqued and stripped a nut because the "click" never went off.

The above said, those digital Harbor Freight adapters that sell around $40 - $60 work very well by just attaching to one of your standard (flex head recommended) ratchets.

By the sales and divorce agreement with Stanley, they're not possibly the same product and indeed don't look the same or have the same part number. Lowe's is specifically trained to not price match or warranty Sears Craftsman products so getting one to price match this relies on a very foolish sales associate and team leader with price override authority. I can't even get them to warranty a legacy long prior to sale to Stanley screwdriver with the same acetate handle design as current because Stanley changed the part numbers, and they point you to calling Stanley or trying to dupe an Ace

Did you price match in store or did it via Lowe's chat?

In-store. Based on Titans comments, I suppose I got lucky because 2 MODs looked up sears.com on their register, then did the PM. YMMV.

Does anyone know if this does angles/degrees as well?
Would like to know this as well. I have the smaller one that does and it works well, but this one looks a bit different for the button arrangement from what I can tell. No mode button that I can see.

Don't get this, get the DEWALT one. It was on sale all the time including a breaker bar.

Forever? Treat it well. How long it stays in spec is different though.

Craftsman 3/8" Drive Digital Click Torque Wrench

Also same price. I'm thinking of getting this one.

Question: does this torque wrench both click and make a beep when it reaches specified torque?

correction to my post
"this is a different style then the one I had, so my post doesn't apply to this design, sorry"
Had this one previously and the knob you turn at the bottom cracked when trying to adjust it, I have read reviews say the same so be warned. It didn't have heavy use and was always stored in the basement in the container it came in.
