Agree. For example, don't vote for a hypocrite who is loudly anti-China but then orders all their hats directly from there anyway.

2.9" from the wall, thats a huge gap. why would anyone want this?
It's articulated genius, those of us who use them like our TVs significantly farther from the wall

I bought this for my bedroom TV. It is very poorly designed. I used the template, measured my studs and marked at the very end on the template. I hit the very edge of the stud on the left, boom straight through the drywall on the right. The actual mount and template holes were off.

Basically I had to angle the lag bolts and run my impact driver to get them flush with the mount. Very stupid that they literally give you 16" to work with god forbid you need a little leeway.

I made it work and it's for a low-use bedroom TV so I didn't care too much. It has some leveling adjustments which is nice. For the price posted it's okay. I spent $100 on an Echogear for the new OLED TV in my living room and that one is much much nicer and better quality.

I'd rate this a 3/5 and would only buy it for a cheaper/smaller TV.

Does anyone have the maximum angle I can pull out and turn a 55" tv with this?

Just installed this today. Seems solid for the 27 bucks. No negatives to report.

The problem with most of these mounts are that they sit at least 3" away from the wall even when full collapsed. You then add the thickness of the TV which is say 1.5-2" and you are talking about the TV jutting out about 5" from the wall which does not look very nice.
If you don't need the articulation feature an ultra slim mount (as close as 0.5" from wall+ TV width) may be better if you care about aesthetics. Of course the ultimate in low profile mounts are those "inside drywall" mounts.
Agreed on the collapsed depth. There are articulating ones that are 1.5".

While I don't need the full range of motion, the motion is useful for being able to get behind ypthe tv for changing connections.

Wall plate on this is 16" wide which means it hits two studs at its ends. Once mounted, TV has no room to slide left/right to position it exactly where you want

If one of your studs is in the center of where you want to mount this won't work, unless you can make it work somehow (mount to single stud).

Just installed today, hold a 65" with ease.Included template makes the measuring much easier. Recommend.
Thinking to buy another because why not, there are still a few bedrooms without a TV yet and I'm sure I can use one of these one day lol

These are garbage TV mounts. Limited to studs on 16" center and doesn't let you move the TV along the mount to center it to your needs. I have 2 mounts similar to this that will be donated to Goodwill.
