800 cycles not 400. And its not charges... its full cycles. So you would have to run from 100 to 0 and charge back to 100 every single day for over 2 years to reach 800 cycles. At that use level it is not a great choice but if used as an emergency power device or portable power device like when camping... its perfect at this price. Keeping the SOC between 20% to 80% when possible can also add considerable battery life.

DELTA
Capacity:1260Wh
Life Cycles: 800+ Cycle
Output: 1800W (Surge 3300W)
AC Input: 1200W Max
Solar Input: 400W

Cycles are 800 and the battery does not die. After 800 cycles the battery loses 20%

Huh?
It does take 3 prong, that's what the hole b/w the plugs is for. Although you're only going to get 3-3 prongers in there. Not sure I'd want to be running that many things off of it anyway. If you need more outlets though use a power outlet strip or extension cord.

Don't do it - I bought one and ended up breaking after several months. The shipping back and forth and comms to get a replacement was not worth $$$ I paid. If you really need it, just get a brand new one.

Why are these things called generators or power stations? Looks like a glorified battery backup with fancy buzz words.

What he said is very reasonable.

800 cycles for new ones but this deal is refurb and you have no idea how much life is left. So for him to assume it has 400 cycles left is reasonable and you are wrong to assume there's still untouched 800 cycles left for refurbs.

Also, since we assume it is 400 cycles left, then we can also say that the capacity of 1260wh is probably around 1100wh at this stage.
I purchased one previously, it has 100% life left 💯😜, they sent brand new one to me ..
refurbished means it got returned in 30 days mostly , the battery were still quite new ..

1.2 kW is just perfect for a two-night camping trip, according to my experience. It's great for using an electric blanket in winter and a portable refrigerator in summer, and there's still plenty of power left. It's also convenient for running the refrigerator during power outages at home. It charges quickly, within just an hour. No need for complicated apps, and I bought it at a refub, and it works flawlessly. I have seven different power station capacities, and this one offers excellent cost-effectiveness.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question. But can you replace the batteries at end of life?

will this work with the "EcoFlow DELTA Max Extra Battery for Generator 2016Wh Certified Refurbished" https://www.ebay.com/itm/144343240680?epid=28049719813&itmmeta=01HRRCVGRVHYD8Z3JHMKY9AKAV&hash=item2... [ebay.com]

If so, I can get this or the 1kWh one and get the Delta Max 2kWh

They probably got it from the same folks that think EV's need to have their battery packs replaced every 50k-70k miles for $30k.

It could last for 12 hrs for your fridge depending on the size of the fridge

If you can get the Delta 2 for the same price. Its much better. I believe this is the OG Delta. No wifi, no bluetooth. You cannot change the charge rate so it will always charge at close to 1C. Which btw will degrade the cells way quicker than you'd think.

Another big difference is the inverter efficiency and idle consumption. The Delta 2 has half the idle consumption and twice efficiency of the OG Delta.

LFP is more durable when it comes to operating hot, NMC degrades quickly when charging and discharging when hot.

All in all, try to get the newer Delta products when on sale. I believe a Delta 2 can be had for less than $450 during some sales.
