macebell are excellent fitness tools, but depending on what movements you want to use 10lbs is gonna be a bit much for a beginner. I built my own out of 1" schedule 40 and some plumbing fittings, loosely based on what this guy did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5-aDCeicog
And I started up with a 2.5 lb plate (obviously total weight was closer to 5). But Obviously you want to scale for your goals. It's probably not bad if you just want to try out the concept but the standard 'swings' you really don't need much weight at all (and in fact can be counterproductive) to get the most benefit from this style of training.

Can we discuss this mace for excercise rather than the off track self defense crap ? Is 10lbs for beginners or more advanced ?

Or how's the balance on this for its purpose. Is it just cheap junk or actually good design

Serious question: are these used as if we are practicing swinging a mace like a warrior and it is just a full upper body workout? Sounds like a good workout tbh.

The weight and size make this a bad choice for what you're thinking about (it's like carrying a Sledgehammer) get an indestructible bat, ball, and a glove (which is Also explained away easier than an exercise mace 🤣)

What are the benefits of this versus swinging a sledgehammer for excercise?

Crack pipes don't have the round ball at the end. What you are thinking of is the classic tweeker's meth pipe. Now available for the low low price of all your worldly possessions and morals.
